101 Copenhagen Foku Chair

The Foku Chair in Warm Ash (C142) by 101 Copenhagen represents a masterful fusion of Japanese Zen aesthetics and contemporary Scandinavian design. Crafted by designers Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, this lounge chair draws inspiration from the tranquil artistry of Japanese Zen gardens, with its distinctive fluted seat echoing the meditative patterns of raked sand. The result is a piece that balances geometric precision with organic harmony, creating a sculptural statement that transcends typical furniture design.

Upholstered in premium Sunproof Olefin fabric, the Warm Ash finish offers a sophisticated neutral tone that bridges warm and cool undertones. This high-performance material is engineered for durability, featuring water-repellent properties and UV protection with a Protection Factor of 80, blocking over 97% of harmful rays. The fabric includes advanced stain and soil resistance treatment, ensuring both practical longevity and refined aesthetics.

Comfort meets design excellence through plush foam layers and a voluminous silhouette that invites extended lounging. The chair measures 92 cm in length, 65 cm in width, and 70 cm in height, with a net weight of 26 kg. Modular in function, multiple Foku Chairs can be seamlessly joined using included metal brackets to create a versatile sofa lounge, making it equally exceptional as a standalone statement piece in reading nooks or spacious living areas.

Each chair includes two metal brackets for secure mounting. Certified under OEKO-TEX standards and meeting EN-1021-1 fire safety requirements, the Foku Chair delivers sculptural comfort backed by rigorous quality assurance.
