101 Copenhagen Frame Wall Lamp

The Frame Wall Lamp, Big - Chrome by 101 Copenhagen represents a thoughtful exploration of contrasting materials and layered design. At its core lies a distinctive concept: framing the light source itself. By combining perforated metal with transparent glass featuring rounded ends, the design achieves a remarkable balance between industrial sharpness and soft elegance.

The lamp's visual identity emerges from this interplay of textures. The typically hard character of perforated metal is softened by the outer layer of clear glass, creating a fluid and gentle expression. Concealed beneath these layers sits an integrated dimmable LED light source encased in a white acrylic tube. This hidden core diffuses light evenly, producing a warm and soft glow that enhances the depth and character of the layered composition.

Measuring 50 cm in length, the Big size serves as a statement piece for living spaces, entryways, or accent illumination. The lamp features a chrome-plated aluminum finish with Cr III plating, delivering a mirrored brilliance that reflects its surroundings with sharp precision. The design is completed with a built-in, non-replaceable LED light source offering 1617 lumens and a warm 2700K color temperature.

Crafted by designers Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the Frame collection exemplifies their philosophy of merging storytelling, materiality, and timeless form. With an illuminant lifetime of 25,000 hours and Energy Class E certification, this wall lamp combines refined proportions with practical performance, making it an enduring addition to contemporary interiors.
