101 Copenhagen Katachi Vase

Katachi Vase High Glaze Birch / Big by 101 Copenhagen represents a masterful exploration of form, light, and shadow. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, this mouth-blown glass vase embodies the Japanese philosophy of "Katachi," meaning shape, seamlessly blended with contemporary Danish design sensibilities.

Crafted from 100% glass, each vase features an irregular surface that subtly distorts and refracts light, casting shifting reflections and soft shadows throughout the day. The sculptural silhouette is both organic and precise, inviting visual curiosity from every angle. Whether displayed alone or grouped with other sizes in the Katachi collection, this vase creates a serene, architectural arrangement that brings quiet poetry and presence to any space.

The Big size measures 15.00 cm in length, 13.50 cm in width, and 22.50 cm in height, making it an impactful statement piece. Waterproof and suitable for indoor use, it performs beautifully filled with branches, floral arrangements, or left empty as a sculptural object. The high glaze birch finish offers sophisticated depth and character while maintaining the clarity that allows light to play across its surface.

Perfect for display on dining tables, sideboards, windowsills, console tables, or shelves, this vase transforms any environment with understated elegance. Maintenance is straightforward—simply clean with a soft microfiber cloth and gentle glass cleaner to preserve its pristine appearance for years to come.
