101 Copenhagen Native Coffee Cup

Discover the artistry in every sip with the Native Coffee Cup in Birch, a handcrafted stoneware piece inspired by the ancient philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. Just as Wabi-Sabi finds beauty in imperfection and the passage of time, these coffee cups celebrate the unique charm of handcraftsmanship. Each cup tells its own story, with subtle variations that make every piece one of a kind, turning your morning ritual into a beautiful experience.

Part of the Native Dinnerware Collection, these cups combine beauty and practicality in perfect harmony. Hand-painted in a bright, pale natural beige with a whisper of warmth, the Birch color reflects the gentle tone of fresh wood. Variations in brush strokes lend natural depth and character, ensuring each item is uniquely alive. Unique patterns and subtle burned spots enhance the handcrafted charm that defines this collection.

Crafted from premium stoneware through a meticulous process, each cup is shaped, glazed, and fired at 1,260°C to achieve exceptional durability while retaining refined character. The set includes two cups, each measuring 7.5 cm in height with a regular size suitable for everyday use. These cups are both dishwasher-safe (up to 65°C) and microwave-safe (up to 675W), making them practical for modern living.

Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the Native collection represents a thoughtful blend of Japanese aesthetics and Danish design sensibility. With simple care and mindful handling, your stoneware will remain a timeless companion, its evolving patina adding depth and character with every meal shared. Embrace the art of slow living, one sip at a time.
