101 Copenhagen Native Pasta Plate

The Native Pasta Plate in Birch brings together Japanese design philosophy and Danish craftsmanship in a piece that celebrates the beauty of imperfection. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, this stoneware plate transforms everyday dining into an artful experience, with each piece bearing its own unique character through hand-painted details and subtle variations.

Crafted from 100% ceramic stoneware, the Native Pasta Plate features a wide, gently curved shape perfectly suited for pasta dishes of all kinds—from delicate angel hair to rich, saucy tagliatelle. Its generous depth makes it equally versatile for risottos, grain bowls, and generous salads, ensuring both flavors and presentations are beautifully showcased. The plate measures 26 cm in length and width with a 7 cm height, offering practical capacity without compromising on elegance.

The distinctive Birch color—a bright, pale natural beige with subtle warmth—reflects the gentle tone of fresh wood, bringing softness and calm to your table. Hand-painted brush strokes create natural depth, while unique patterns and subtle burned spots enhance its handcrafted charm. No two pieces are ever identical, making each plate a work of art.

Built to last through meticulous firing at 1,260°C, this stoneware is both dishwasher-safe up to 65°C and microwave-safe, designed for modern living. The matte glaze finish and refined craftsmanship ensure durability while maintaining the refined, handcrafted character that defines the Native Dinnerware Collection. With proper care, your plate will develop a natural patina, becoming a timeless companion to countless meals shared.
