Audo Copenhagen Tearoom Club Chair

The Tearoom Club Chair by designer Nick Ross represents a masterful evolution of classic design principles, reimagined for contemporary comfort. Inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh's iconic Willow Chair created for the Willow Tearooms in Glasgow, Ross has transformed an historically significant but visually demanding piece into a fully resolved, genuinely comfortable lounge chair.

This sculptural, fully upholstered club chair combines supportive wood construction with internal webbing and PU foam, delivering indulgent seating that invites extended relaxation. The generous seat dimensions—height 78 cm, width 70 cm, depth 58 cm, with a seat height of 47 cm—create a compact footprint that belies its comfort potential, making it ideal for hotels, clubs, refined living rooms, and exclusive lounge environments.

Available in a curated selection of premium upholstery options, the Tearoom Club Chair offers versatility without compromise. Choose from luxurious textures including Audo Bouclé's distinctive looped yarns, the modern interpretation of Logan's cotton-wool blend, Champion's sophisticated velvet, or Savanna's rich, layered surface. Each fabric option is carefully selected for durability and refined aesthetics, with fire-resistant certifications and impressive Martindale ratings ensuring longevity.

Nick Ross's design philosophy centers on the relationship between history, materials, and contemporary living. The Tearoom Club Chair exemplifies this approach, bridging the past with present-day expectations of comfort and functionality. This is a statement piece that rewards both the eye and the body—a sculptural addition to any discerning interior that refuses to compromise on either beauty or usability.
