DCWéditions Biny Curve Wall Lamp

The Biny Curve Wall Lamp by DCWéditions is a refined expression of mid-century French design, crafted from steel and aluminium for a look that balances industrial precision with understated grace. Designed by Jacques Biny, one of the defining luminarists of France's post-war "Trente Glorieuses" era, this wall lamp reflects his enduring design philosophy: efficiency, simplicity, sobriety and elegance.

Part of the Atmosphérique collection, the Biny Curve embodies a considered, architectural approach to lighting, where clean lines and a fluid curved form come together to create soft, functional illumination suited to both residential and contemplative interior settings. Compact in scale, it measures 215 mm x 239 mm x 99 mm and weighs just 1.3 kg, making it an easy addition to walls in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways or study spaces.

Technically, the lamp is fitted for a 9W light source and operates on a 110-240V range, ensuring compatibility across international electrical standards. It carries an IP20 protection rating, suited for dry indoor environments, and meets European Conformity (CE) certification standards.

As with all Jacques Biny creations, the Biny Curve carries forward a legacy of French industrial lighting design, born from his rare position as both designer and manufacturer during a golden age of collaboration with talents such as Michel Buffet and Jean Boris Lacroix. A timeless piece for those who appreciate honest materials and thoughtful form.
