Design House Stockholm Elsa Beskow Bowl

Bring a touch of storybook charm to your table with the Elsa Beskow Bowl by Design House Stockholm, designed by Catharina Kippel. Drawing on the beloved illustrations of Swedish children's book author Elsa Beskow, Kippel has translated the artist's warm, whimsical world into a pattern that captures the humour and gentle observation of nature and people so characteristic of Beskow's storytelling.

Crafted from new bone china with an inglazed decal finish, this bowl combines fine craftsmanship with everyday durability. It is both dishwasher and microwave safe, making it a practical yet decorative addition to daily meals or special occasions alike. With a capacity of 50 cl, a height of 7 cm and a diameter of 13 cm, it offers a versatile size suited to soups, cereals, or as a charming display piece on open shelving.

The bowl is available in a choice of designs: Uncle Blue, Strawberry Family, Dandelions, Cornflower, Poppy, Marguerite, and Rose — each one a distinct visual quotation from Elsa Beskow's cherished tales, allowing you to choose the motif that speaks most to your own story.

Part of a wider collection that includes mugs and trays, the Elsa Beskow Bowl is a fitting tribute to a timeless literary legacy, reimagined by a designer who has shaped much of Design House Stockholm's bestselling dinnerware since the brand's early days. A piece to be used, admired, and passed on.
