Design House Stockholm Elsa Beskow Tray 20x27 cm

Bring a touch of storytelling charm to your everyday routines with the Elsa Beskow Tray by Design House Stockholm. Measuring 20x27 cm, this tray draws its character from the beloved illustrations of Swedish children's book author Elsa Beskow, reinterpreted with warmth and wit by designer Catharina Kippel, who has collaborated with the brand since its earliest days. The result is a functional piece that carries the humour and gentle charm so typical of Beskow's depictions of people and nature.

The tray is available in a choice of designs: Uncle Blue, Strawberry Family, Cornflower, Poppy, Marguerite, and Rose. Each pattern offers its own distinct visual quotation from Beskow's world, allowing you to choose the motif that resonates most with your taste or home setting.

Crafted from beech wood with a durable melamine sheet surface, this tray is built to withstand daily use while remaining easy to care for — it is fully dishwasher safe. Its compact dimensions and lightweight construction, weighing just 0.15 kg, make it a practical addition to breakfast tables, coffee moments, or as a decorative catch-all for smaller items.

Produced in Romania and first published in 2013, the Elsa Beskow Tray reflects Design House Stockholm's ongoing commitment to Scandinavian design with a storytelling soul. Whether used for serving or simply displayed as a charming accent piece, it brings a nostalgic, illustrative quality to any interior, inviting both children and adults into the endearing world of Elsa Beskow.
