Ferm Living Cairn Cutting Boards

Discover the Ferm Living Cairn Cutting Boards in Oak, a collection of sculptural boards that bring an artistic sensibility to everyday meals. Their design draws inspiration from cairns, the man-made stone stacks traditionally raised as markers or memorials, translating that organic, layered silhouette into a functional kitchen object with soft curves and carefully sculpted details.

Each board is carved from solid, FSC™-certified ash, ensuring a responsibly sourced material with natural durability. A carbonised finish gives the wood its distinct, deep tone, while the delicate, rounded edges soften the overall form and enhance the tactile, handcrafted quality of the piece.

Versatile by design, the Cairn Cutting Boards move effortlessly between food preparation and presentation. Use them in the kitchen as a reliable surface for chopping and slicing, or bring them directly to the table as a decorative way to serve bread, cheese, or other dishes. Their sculptural profile means they double as a design object even when not in use, adding quiet visual interest to any kitchen countertop or dining setting.

With their combination of organic inspiration and refined craftsmanship, these cutting boards embody Ferm Living's signature approach to functional design. They pair naturally with the brand's broader collection of home accessories and lighting, including pendants and other pieces that share the same dedication to material honesty and understated form.
