Ferm Living Opty Boat

Ferm Living Opty Boat is part of the Ferm Living x Utzon collaboration, a collection inspired by the celebrated Danish-Spanish architect Jørn Utzon and his family home, Can Lis, in Mallorca. This partnership merges the natural beauty of the Mediterranean landscape with the architect's distinct design philosophy, resulting in objects that carry both history and meaning.

The Opty Boat pays tribute to Utzon's enduring passion for sailing, taking its name and form directly from the small boat that once captured his imagination. Its silhouette reflects a quiet, nautical elegance, capturing the spirit of a life lived close to the sea.

Crafted from a thoughtful combination of MDF and FSC™-certified oak, the Opty Boat is made with a strong commitment to quality and sustainable sourcing. The choice of materials underscores Ferm Living's dedication to craftsmanship, ensuring a piece that is both durable and refined in its finish.

With its timeless design, the Opty Boat transcends passing trends, making it a lasting addition to any interior. It stands as more than a decorative object — it is a design piece that tells a story, connecting the observer to Utzon's legacy and his love for the sea.

Whether placed on a shelf, sideboard, or windowsill, the Opty Boat brings a sense of narrative and craftsmanship to any room, making it a meaningful choice for those who appreciate design rooted in history and authenticity.
