Ferm Living Staffa Coffee Table

The Ferm Living Staffa Coffee Table draws its inspiration from the dramatic volcanic rock formations found on the island of Staffa in Scotland, translating their raw, sculptural quality into a striking piece of furniture. The name itself pays tribute to this heritage, derived from the old Norse word for "pillar," a fitting reference to the table's bold, monolithic presence.

Part of the wider Staffa collection, this coffee table is crafted entirely from glass fibre reinforced concrete, shaped through an innovative casting process. The result is a rough, uneven surface that echoes the texture of hand-carved stone, giving each piece a distinctive character and a sense of natural imperfection that sets it apart from conventional furniture design.

Built to withstand the elements as confidently as it commands attention indoors, the Staffa Coffee Table is suitable for both interior and outdoor settings. Whether placed at the heart of a living room or as the centrepiece of an outside lounge area, it occupies the space between art object and functional furniture, inviting touch, conversation, and contemplation in equal measure.

With its sculptural silhouette and tactile, stone-like finish, the Staffa Coffee Table brings a raw, elemental beauty to any setting. It stands as a testament to Ferm Living's ability to merge material innovation with timeless, nature-inspired design, offering a bold statement piece for those seeking furniture that transcends the ordinary.
