Ferm Living Staffa Pedestal

Named after the Old Norse word for pillar, the Ferm Living Staffa Pedestal draws its inspiration from the striking volcanic rock formations of the island of Staffa in Scotland. This sculptural piece belongs to the wider Staffa collection, a series of bold furniture designs that translate the raw, dramatic beauty of natural stone into refined, functional objects for the modern home.

Crafted entirely from glass fibre reinforced concrete, the pedestal is made using an innovative casting process that gives each piece a rough, uneven texture reminiscent of hand-carved stone blocks. No two pieces are ever quite alike, making every Staffa Pedestal a unique addition to your interior or outdoor space.

Designed to blur the boundaries between art and function, the Staffa Pedestal serves as a striking plinth for your favourite lamp, sculpture, or decorative object. Its solid, architectural presence brings a sense of ancient permanence to contemporary settings, while its versatile construction makes it equally suited to indoor living spaces and outdoor terraces or gardens.

More than a simple display stand, the Staffa Pedestal is a conversation piece in its own right. Placed alongside a favourite lamp or artwork, it creates a compelling dialogue between raw material and refined design, adding depth, texture, and character to any room or setting.
