Gubi Epic Coffee Table

Designed by GamFratesi for Gubi, the Epic Coffee Table draws its name from the epic poems of antiquity, taking visual cues from Greek columns and Roman architecture. Its sculptural, monolithic form pays tribute to classical monumentality while remaining entirely at home in contemporary interiors. Originally realized in travertine stone, the collection also introduces steel as a new expression of the design, marking the first time GamFratesi has worked with this material within the Epic series.

Each steel version is galvanized, lacquered, and then finished by hand through a series of processes that give every table a unique surface character, ensuring no two pieces are quite alike. The travertine editions, made in Italy, celebrate the natural beauty of the stone's veining and the rich texture of its patina, with new details revealing themselves over time and use. Whether rendered in stone or steel, the table retains its distinctive weight and tactility, offering resilient, durable surfaces suited for both private interiors and hospitality environments.

The Epic Coffee Table is available in a round shape, offered in three diameters: Ø60 cm, Ø80 cm, and Ø110 cm. It comes in five finishes: Burnt Red Travertine, Neutral White Travertine, Midnight Black Steel, Misty Gray Steel, and Earthy Red Steel. The varying heights, diameters, and material tones within the Epic Table Collection allow a single table to stand alone as a striking centerpiece or be combined in dynamic clusters, creating rich contrasts of color, height, and material within a single space.
