Gubi Epic Dining Table

GUBI Epic Dining Table is a sculptural piece of furniture designed by GamFratesi, drawing inspiration from Greek columns and Roman architecture. True to the spirit of the epic poems it is named after, the table embodies a monolithic form that celebrates materiality, weight, and craftsmanship, bringing an intriguing tactile presence to any dining setting.

Originally created in Italy from travertine stone, the Epic Dining Table also marks GamFratesi's first exploration of steel plates for GUBI, galvanized, lacquered, and hand-finished to create a unique surface expression on every piece. Whether in natural stone or industrial steel, each table offers a distinct patina and texture, ensuring that no two surfaces are ever quite alike, with new details to discover over time and use.

The Epic Dining Table is available in a 240x120 cm elliptical size or a Ø130 cm round format, allowing it to suit a variety of dining spaces, from intimate private interiors to more expansive hospitality settings. It comes in four distinctive finishes: Neutral White Travertine, Burnt Red Travertine, Midnight Black Steel, and Misty Gray Steel, each expressing the harmonious balance between base, geometry, and tabletop that defines the collection.

With its resilient surfaces and refined material expression, the Epic Dining Table can stand alone as a striking centerpiece or be combined with other pieces from the Epic Collection in dynamic clusters of varying height, material, and color, offering both durability and design personality for everyday use.
