Gubi P3 Outdoor Lounge Chair

Gubi P3 Outdoor Lounge Chair is a rattan icon reborn for life beyond four walls. Designed in 1964 by architect and designer Tito Agnoli for the Italian rattan masters Bonacina 1889, the P3 has long been celebrated for its sculptural elegance, playful expression, and ergonomic comfort. Now, drawing directly from Bonacina's archival drawings, Gubi introduces an outdoor edition of this design classic, meticulously adapted to meet today's appetite for indoor-outdoor fluidity.

The chair is formed from handwoven rattan strips fixed to a tubular steel frame, showcasing the highest level of rattan craftsmanship. Every curve and weave highlights the material's natural warmth and texture, while the tubular steel base lends structural strength and a refined, architectural presence. The result is a piece that feels equally at home in a shaded veranda, beside a pool, or within an open-air lounge setting.

The P3 Outdoor Lounge Chair is available with a Natural Tone base finish and is made to order, with delivery in one to three months. It belongs to a two-piece collection alongside the P3S Chaise Longue, both designed to invite a slower rhythm of life and a closer connection to nature.

This piece is part of Gubi's collaboration with Bonacina 1889, a legendary Italian house that has shaped the story of rattan for more than a century, working alongside visionaries such as Gio Ponti, Joe Colombo, and Tito Agnoli. Together, Gubi and Bonacina carry this living heritage into the present, united by a shared devotion to rattan as both craft and art form.
