Gubi Stemlite Table Lamp

The Gubi Stemlite Table Lamp in Pebble Grey is a timeless design classic that brings understated elegance to any interior space. Originally conceived by legendary designer Bill Curry in 1962, this iconic lamp represents an innovative reimagining of traditional lighting design, capturing the spirit and aesthetic of West Coast America during the vibrant 1960s.

Inspired by the natural forms of flower stems, the Stemlite is instantly recognizable by its distinctive silhouette: a delicate opal glass shade gracefully perched atop a slender, sculptural stem. This organic approach to lamp design creates a harmonious balance between form and function, delivering gentle, diffused light that enhances any room without overwhelming the space.

Originally a hidden gem from the space race era, the Stemlite has earned its place as a natural addition to the contemporary GUBI Collection. The lamp exemplifies Curry's philosophy of the 'total look'—a holistic design approach that considers every element of the lighting experience. The opal glass shade softly disperses light while maintaining visual interest, while the refined stem creates an architectural statement piece.

Standing at 42 cm in height, the Stemlite is perfectly proportioned for desks, bedside tables, or accent lighting in living spaces. The lamp features an E27 socket and accepts standard bulbs (not included), offering flexibility in brightness and color temperature to suit your preferences. A sophisticated choice for those who appreciate design heritage and understated luxury.
