Marset Lauro Table Lamp

Originally designed by P. Aragay and J. Pérez Mateo in 1973, the Marset Lauro Table Lamp returns fifty years later as a faithful reissue that proves good design never ages. Born at a time when Marset first established design as a strategic pillar of the brand, Lauro captures the emotional language of the past while asserting a bold, sculptural presence that feels entirely at home in contemporary interiors.

The lamp's base and stem are crafted from steel, a material that was notoriously difficult to shape when the original piece was conceived, making the bent structure a genuine technical achievement then and a striking design statement now. The methacrylate shade completes the silhouette, offering either a translucent opal finish for soft, diffused illumination or a two-layer black version for a more direct, focused light. The shade can be rotated and adjusted along the height of the support, allowing the light to be precisely directed as needed.

Measuring 41 cm in height with a 38 cm base, this table version shares its design language with the wider Lauro collection, which also includes floor and wall lamp editions. Staying true to the spirit of the original, Lauro is fitted for an LED light bulb, echoing the appearance of lamps from decades past while embracing modern lighting technology.

The Lauro Table Lamp is available in Dark Brown / White, Chromed Steel / White, Dark Brown / Black, and Chromed Steel / Black, allowing this iconic silhouette to be tailored to a range of interior palettes while preserving its distinctive seventies-inspired character.
