NINE 19 Outdoors Lounge Chair

The 19 Outdoors Lounge Chair in Green from NINE brings the distinctive design language of Butterfield Brothers to the outdoor setting. Part of the 19 Outdoors collection, this piece draws inspiration from the Butterfield Brothers' charity project 19 Chairs, and shares its unmistakable aluminium extrusion profile with the rest of the range. While each item in the collection carries its own individual design, they remain visually unified through shared material, colour and proportion, allowing them to be mixed freely or arranged as a cohesive matching set.

Crafted from powder coated aluminium, the lounge chair is built for durability and low-maintenance outdoor use. Aluminium is among the most recycled and recyclable materials available, requiring only 5% of the energy needed to produce new material from ore, and can be recycled almost indefinitely, making it a responsible choice for long-term outdoor furnishing.

Measuring H702mm x W775mm x D794mm and weighing 9.8kg, the chair offers a substantial yet comfortable presence suited to lounging. It has been tested to the BS EN 581 standard for outdoor furniture and is certified suitable for contract use, making it a reliable option for both private terraces and demanding commercial environments such as restaurants and hospitality spaces.

Designed by the London-based studio Butterfield Brothers, founded by brothers Tom and Will Butterfield in 2020, the 19 Outdoors Lounge Chair reflects their focus on materiality and considered simplicity, delivering an uncomplicated yet striking addition to any outdoor arrangement.
