NINE Rod Bowl

Rod Bowl in Red / Coral is part of the Rod family by French designer Julien Renault for NINE, a collection of hand made and hand painted earthenware containers inspired by traditional pottery coiling techniques. Each piece is crafted individually, so subtle variations in shape and glaze are a natural part of its character rather than an imperfection.

Made from earthenware ceramic with a coloured glaze, the Rod Bowl measures H70mm x Ø233mm and weighs 1.38kg. It is certified safe for contact with food and suited for both indoor and outdoor settings, making it a versatile addition to any interior or terrace styling.

Ceramic is a raw, low-impact material that is durable and long-lasting. When its lifecycle finally ends, it remains completely inert and causes no harm to the environment, reflecting NINE's commitment to considered, honest design.

The Rod Bowl can be used on its own to hold fruit, kitchen utensils, or a loose arrangement of flowers, or combined with the matching Rod Vase and Rod Pot for a layered, decorative display. Together, the collection brings a warm, handcrafted texture to tabletops and shelves alike.

Designed by Julien Renault, a Brussels-based multidisciplinary designer known for his work with brands such as Hay, Hem, and Mattiazzi, the Rod Bowl embodies his belief that everyday objects deserve thoughtful design.
