Normann Copenhagen Stretch Stool

Discover the essence of Scandinavian design with the Normann Copenhagen Stretch Stool. This minimalist stool, crafted from UV lacquered pine that is both FSC™ certified and sourced from other controlled sources, embodies functionality with its clean and unadorned aesthetic. Measuring 40x40x45 cm and weighing 9 kg, the Stretch Stool showcases the natural beauty and durability of pine wood.

The stool's design features are purposeful and focused on the utilization of full-length pine planks that highlight the strength and quality of the material. The pine's natural tendency to develop a patina over time adds to its charm, making each piece uniquely its own. This stool is not only a seating option but can also serve as a side table or nightstand. A clear, matt UV varnish enhances the pine’s texture while protecting it from sun damage, ensuring that the stool remains a lasting component of your home decor.

Designed by Simon Legald, a graduate of The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, the Stretch Stool resonates with his philosophy of honest and understandable products that communicate through their aesthetic and functional qualities. This stool is a testament to design that speaks of simplicity and reliability in everyday living.
