Rotaliana String W0 Wall Lamp

Rotaliana String W0 is a wall-mounted LED reading lamp designed by Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda in 2011, built around a distinctive tension mechanism. Two extruded-aluminium arms are held in balance by an elastic cable sheathed in coloured fabric, allowing the lamp to be flexed and positioned with fluid, intuitive movement. The moulded head rotates freely, directing light exactly where it is needed, and features a touch-sensitive switch for effortless control.

String W0 is available with a matt black or matt white structure, paired with a fabric-sheathed cable, or "string," in orange, black or silver, allowing the lamp to be tailored to different interior palettes and personalities. The combination of structural colour and string finish makes it easy to integrate this piece into both minimal and more expressive settings, whether as a single accent or in multiples along a wall.

The light source can be specified as Tunable White, offering a colour temperature range of 2200 to 4000 K, or Dim to Warm, spanning 2500 to 4000 K, with the light naturally warming as it is dimmed for a softer, more intimate glow. Both versions deliver 9 W of consumption and 700 lm of output, with a CRI of 90 for faithful colour rendering. The driver is included, ensuring straightforward installation.
