Rotaliana Venere W1 is a wall or ceiling lamp designed by Giovanni Lauda in 2021, conceived as a study in geometry and movement. Its architecture is built around two overlapping aluminium discs joined by a hinge, concealing an opaline polycarbonate diffuser that ensures a soft, evenly diffused light. When closed flat against the wall or ceiling, Venere presents itself as a slim, minimal disc, almost sculptural in its simplicity. Opened to an angle of up to 96 degrees and rotated, it transforms into a directional source of light, orienting its beam with the ease of an eye scanning the room.

This dual nature makes Venere W1 a remarkably versatile piece, equally at home as a discreet ambient light or as a focused accent fixture, adapting effortlessly to the needs of the space it inhabits. The interplay between its two aluminium shells adds a dynamic, sculptural quality to the design, while the opaline diffuser guarantees a comfortable, glare-free glow with a high CRI of 90 for faithful colour rendering.

Venere W1 is equipped with dimmable LED technology and includes the driver, ready for installation. The lamp is available with a colour temperature of 2700 K or 3000 K, and can be specified with On/Off, Push, or Dali dimming systems, allowing it to be tailored precisely to the desired lighting control and atmosphere.
