Santa & Cole Sísísí Cónicas Planas MT5 Pendant Lamp

The Sísísí Cónicas Planas MT5 pendant lamp brings a warm, archetypal presence to the table with its flat conical silhouette. Designed by Gabriel Ordeig in 1987 for Santa & Cole, this piece pays tribute to parchment and its soft, translucent glow. Though bold in volume, its balanced proportions keep the design visually light, making it a natural centerpiece for long table conversations and shared moments.

This version features a stitched beige parchment shade, paired with a circular metallic canopy in a textured white finish and a white cable. The lower visor built into the shade prevents glare, ensuring comfortable, glare-free illumination over dining and gathering spaces. The fixture is also suitable for a side entry adaptor, offering flexibility in installation.

The MT5 model comes with an LED bulb delivering a luminous flux of 1.521 lumens, a rated input wattage of 11 W, and a warm color temperature of 2.700 K. It weighs 0.7 kg (1.54 lb) and includes an electric cable measuring 3 meters (118.1") in length.

Part of the Sistema Matricial family, the Sísísí Cónicas Planas draws its name from the legendary 1980s Barcelona bar that inspired it, born from Gabriel Ordeig's desire to preserve warmth and craftsmanship in an era dominated by cold, metallic design. It remains a refined expression of humble materials transformed into timeless, human-centered lighting.
