Seletti Amor Volat Vase

Suspended between classical form and dreamlike lightness, the Amor Volat vase reimagines the timeless bust sculpture as a symbol of weightlessness. Designed by Marcantonio for Seletti, this striking piece turns a familiar figure upside down, capturing that fleeting sensation of falling in love — when the world feels softer, brighter, and gravity itself seems to loosen its grip.

More than a decorative object, Amor Volat is a tribute to those who live guided by emotion rather than reason. Its inverted head, rendered with sculptural precision, becomes a vessel for flowers — nature's own language of feeling. Every bloom placed within it adds a new layer of meaning, transforming the vase into a living, ever-changing artwork.

Crafted from porcelain and plaster, the piece combines fine craftsmanship with an artistic, almost theatrical presence, reflecting Marcantonio's background as both sculptor and set designer. The interplay of classical reference and contemporary irony gives the vase a distinctive character, equally at home as a centerpiece on a console table or as a sculptural accent within a curated interior.

Complete with its base, the vase measures 22 x 17 cm, H. 30 cm (8.66” x 6.69” x 11.81”), offering a substantial yet elegant silhouette suited to refined interiors and design-forward spaces.

Part of Marcantonio's broader exploration of the relationship between man and nature, Amor Volat continues his signature dialogue between beauty, irony, and transformation — inviting you to look at the familiar from an entirely new perspective.
