Seletti Love Is a Verb Alberto

Love Is A Verb Alberto is a resin statue by Seletti, part of the evocative Love Is A Verb collection designed by artist Tatiana Brodatch. Featureless faces and penetrating looks define this piece, translating the subtle complexities of human connection into a tangible sculptural form. Alberto captures the essence of relationships with the Other — personal reflections, doubts, and hesitations — through a silhouette that feels vibrant and alive despite its abstraction.

Crafted in resin, the figure embraces a deliberately imperfect contour, giving the surface a soft, almost breathing quality. This "perfectly imperfect" aesthetic is central to Tatiana Brodatch's artistic language, born from her early experiments with plasticine and her search for a more direct, immediate mode of expression. Trained as an architect in Moscow before turning fully to art in 2013, Brodatch channels years of design sensibility into faceless characters that carry universal emotions.

Measuring cm 7x12 h.19, Alberto is compact yet striking, making it a versatile addition to shelves, consoles, or curated display corners. Its understated palette and sculptural presence allow it to integrate seamlessly into varied interior styles, from minimalist to eclectic.

As a Special Edition piece, Love Is A Verb Alberto brings a layer of artistic storytelling to the home, transforming everyday spaces into settings for quiet contemplation. It pairs beautifully with other pieces from the same collection, creating a dialogue of characters that speak to the emotional depth of human relationships — a distinctive statement for those who appreciate design with meaning.
