Seletti Magna Graecia Statuette

Step into the mythical world of the Magna Graecia collection with the Seletti Magna Graecia Statuette Centauro, a striking terracotta sculpture that draws on the ancient legends of Southern Italy. Designed by Antonio Aricò, this piece embodies the designer's fascination with craft, tradition, and the archetypal stories that have shaped the Italian imagination for centuries. As Aricò himself suggests, Italy is not simply a country, but a sea of stories woven from myth and memory, stretching from North to South and East to West.

Crafted entirely in terracotta, the statuette captures the legendary figure of the Centaur with sculptural detail and an evocative, timeworn finish that echoes archaeological artifacts unearthed from a forgotten civilization. Each piece carries the raw, tactile character of handcrafted terracotta, celebrating an ancient material reimagined through a contemporary design lens.

A refined addition to any interior seeking narrative depth, the Centauro statuette pairs beautifully with the rest of the Magna Graecia collection, including its Venere, Anfora, and Capitello counterparts, creating a cohesive display of mythological storytelling within the home.

Part of Antonio Aricò's broader design philosophy, which favors romanticism and fantasy over pure functionality, this statuette is a tribute to craft, culture, and the poetic soul of Southern Italy. A decorative statement piece for those who appreciate design rooted in history and myth.
