Seletti Memorabilia Mvsevm Mouth

The Memorabilia Mvsevm Mouth is a striking porcelain object from Seletti, part of the celebrated Memorabilia Mvsevm collection designed by Marcantonio. This piece belongs to a series of nine fragments of the human body, each conceived as a tribute to the mastery of the great classical Italian sculptors, reinterpreted through a contemporary design lens.

Crafted in fine porcelain, the Mouth captures the sensuality and expressiveness of classical statuary, freezing a single detail of the human form into a refined decorative object. Measuring 24 x 7 cm and standing 13 cm tall, its scale makes it a versatile addition to shelves, consoles, or curated display corners within the home.

True to Marcantonio's design philosophy, the piece plays on the dialogue between art and irony, elegance and surprise. The designer, known for blending theatrical set design with artistic and design practice, draws on classical references while injecting a playful, unexpected twist — transforming a museum-worthy sculptural fragment into a bold statement piece for contemporary interiors.

As part of the Home accessories category, the Memorabilia Mvsevm Mouth is as much a conversation piece as it is a design object, ideal for those who appreciate the fusion of art history and modern aesthetics. It pairs naturally with other pieces from the same collection, allowing for a curated, gallery-like display.
