Serax Base Tea Cup without Handle

Designed by Piet Boon for Serax, the Base Tea Cup without Handle in Matt White brings quiet sophistication to any table setting. Part of the acclaimed Base collection, this piece embodies the shared philosophy of Studio Piet Boon and Serax: a devotion to detail and a seamless blend of design and functionality. Its handle-free silhouette and clean lines make it a versatile, understated companion to any dish or drink you choose to serve.

Crafted from bone china porcelain with a glazed matt finish, the cup offers a soft, tactile surface that radiates timeless elegance. Measuring L 8 x W 8 x H 9 cm and weighing just 0.19 kg, it holds a practical capacity of 35 cl, ideal for tea, coffee or infusions. As many pieces in this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur — a natural mark of craftsmanship that adds character and uniqueness to each cup.

Built for everyday use, this tea cup is dishwasher and microwave safe, as well as fully food-safe, though not suitable for oven or salamander use. Its minimalist design acts as a true blank canvas, effortlessly complementing other pieces from the Base range or standing beautifully on its own.

Please note that this item has a minimum order quantity of four pieces, making it perfectly suited for building a cohesive, elegant table setting worthy of Studio Piet Boon's refined design language.
