Serax Beth Daybed

Serax Beth Daybed is a hybrid piece of furniture designed by Ann Demeulemeester, equally suited to function as a generous sofa, a bench, or a day bed. Spanning 280 centimetres in length, it brings a sculptural yet grounded presence to any interior, reflecting the same refined balance between structure and ease found throughout Demeulemeester's furniture collection.

The design is built around rounded edge profiles and an oak-wood frame, echoing the thoughtful construction language of the Ono family. The legs extend upward through the seat, forming supports for two additional upholstered cushions that take on the role traditionally played by the arms of a sofa. This interplay of solid wood and soft upholstery gives Beth a distinctive silhouette, poised between structural rigour and relaxed comfort.

Beth is available in Coco Natural, Licot Black, Velvet Grey, Velvet Mole, and Velvet Rose, allowing the piece to be tailored to different interior palettes while retaining its distinctive proportions and material honesty.

Crafted from oak with upholstered detailing, the daybed measures 280 cm in length, 95 cm in width, and 59 cm in height, and weighs 113 kg. It is intended for indoor, dry environments and does not feature an adjustable seat height or modular configuration. As many pieces in the collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, adding to the individual character of each daybed.
