Serax Cena Cappuccino Cup without Handle

Discover the Serax Cena Cappuccino Cup without Handle in Sand, a refined addition to the acclaimed Cena tableware collection by architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen. Stripped of bold colors, unnecessary texture, or ornate shapes, this cup embodies a purified, understated elegance that speaks to Van Duysen's signature design philosophy: warm, honest materials brought together with quiet confidence.

Crafted from glazed porcelain, the cup measures 9 cm in length, 9 cm in width, and 6.5 cm in height, weighing just 0.19 kg with a practical 25 cl capacity — ideal for a comforting cappuccino or morning espresso ritual. Its handle-free silhouette lends a modern, minimalist touch to any table setting, while the ivory sand tone brings a soft warmth that pairs effortlessly with the rest of the Cena range.

Designed for everyday use, this cup is both dishwasher and microwave safe, and fully food-safe, though not suitable for oven or salamander use. As part of the handcrafted finishing process, slight irregularities may appear in each piece — a natural characteristic that adds to its individual charm and authenticity rather than detracting from its quality.

Part of the wider Cena dinner service, this cup reflects Van Duysen's exploration of tableware archetypes, reimagined through a warm palette of off-white and greige tones and a thoughtful mix of natural materials including porcelain, wood, and smoked glass. A timeless choice for those who appreciate quiet, purposeful design at the table.
