Serax Cena Espresso Cup

Start your morning ritual with the Serax Cena Espresso Cup in Sand, part of the acclaimed Cena collection by Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen. Finished with a neutral, sand-toned glaze, this espresso cup embodies Van Duysen's signature aesthetic: warm, purified, and quietly refined. Its simple silhouette carries a cheerful character that brings understated elegance to any coffee break.

Crafted from glazed porcelain, the cup measures 9 x 7 x 5.5 cm and weighs 0.12 kg, with a capacity of 12 cl — ideal for a proper espresso serving. It is dishwasher and microwave safe, as well as fully food-safe, making it as practical as it is beautiful, though not suited for oven or salamander use.

The Cena collection reflects Van Duysen's exploration of tableware archetypes, reimagined through a familiar palette of off-white and greige. Combining glazed porcelain with natural materials such as wood and smoked glass elsewhere in the range, Cena creates a warm, cohesive atmosphere that adapts effortlessly to different tastes and lifestyles. As with many Serax pieces, each item is finished by hand, meaning slight irregularities may occur — a natural part of its handcrafted charm and individual character.

Please note a minimum order quantity of four pieces applies to this item. Pair it with other pieces from the Cena collection to complete a warm, considered table setting that feels both timeless and effortlessly livable.
