Serax Malé Side Table

The Serax Malé Side Table builds its identity on clarity of form through repetition and regularity. Elongated rectangular plates, all sharing the same width, are composed with precision: laid horizontally, they form the structure supporting the square table-top; positioned vertically, they become the legs, sitting flat along the outer edge of each corner. The result is a quietly architectural piece where geometry and proportion take center stage, offering a refined graphic presence in any interior.

Crafted from beech, the Malé table is available in Beech Black, Beech Cream, Beech Off-White, and Beech Red, allowing the piece to adapt to a range of interior moods, from understated neutrality to bold, dynamic contrast. As with all pieces finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, adding to the individual character of each table.

The table measures 56 cm in length, 56 cm in width, and 66 cm in height, with a weight of 12.6 kg. It is designed for indoor, dry environments and does not feature modular components. Wood is a natural material, and slight variations in tone or texture may occur over time, a quality inherent to solid wood furniture rather than a flaw.

Malé belongs to the first complete furniture line by Ann Demeulemeester, designed in collaboration with her life partner Patrick Robyn for Serax. True to Demeulemeester's aesthetic language, the collection explores contrast, structure, and nonchalance, translating a distinctly personal design vision into timeless, functional pieces meant to be integrated and cherished at home.
