Serax Nido Saucer Coffee Cup

Designed by Ann Van Hoey, one of Belgium's most celebrated ceramicists, the Nido Saucer Coffee Cup embodies the understated elegance and refined balance that define her work. As part of the wider Nido collection, this white saucer has been crafted specifically to accompany the Nido coffee cups, forming a cohesive and elegant set worthy of any considered table setting.

Made from high-quality bone china porcelain with a matte finish, the saucer showcases a clean, minimalist aesthetic that lets its craftsmanship speak for itself. Many pieces in the collection are finished by hand, meaning subtle irregularities may occur — a reminder of the artisanal process behind each item and a mark of its individuality rather than a flaw.

Practical as well as beautiful, this saucer measures 11.5 cm in length, 11.5 cm in width, and 0.9 cm in height, with a weight of just 0.12 kg. It is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven resistant up to 200°C, making it as functional for daily use as it is suited to special occasions. The piece is also fully food-safe, ensuring worry-free everyday enjoyment.

The Nido collection has since been expanded with the Blue Print series, introducing a cobalt blue motif inspired by the mathematical grids found in 3D design software — a fitting evolution of Van Hoey's refined design language. Please note that this item has a minimum order quantity of four pieces, making it ideal for building a complete, elegant coffee service at home or in a professional setting.
