Serax Nido Tray

Discover the Serax Nido Tray L, a refined addition to the Nido collection by designer Ann Van Hoey. Crafted from solid walnut, this tray showcases a thoughtful construction where the wood is thinly planed towards the edges, creating a delicate, tapered silhouette that feels light in the hand yet substantial in presence.

A distinctive foot positioned at one end gives the tray the subtle illusion of floating, a signature detail that sets the Nido collection apart. Van Hoey further explored unconventional, angular corners instead of the expected rounded edges, lending the design a sculptural quality that stands out on any surface, whether styled on a coffee table, sideboard, or kitchen counter.

Measuring 24 cm in length, 12 cm in width, and 1.8 cm in height, and weighing just 0.2 kg, the Nido Tray L is versatile enough for everyday use while remaining a striking decorative object. The tray is food-safe, though it is not dishwasher, microwave, oven, or salamander resistant, making handwashing the recommended method of care.

As with many pieces in the Serax range, this tray is finished by hand, and slight irregularities in the wood grain or shape should be embraced as part of its individual character rather than viewed as imperfections. The Nido Tray L is available in multiple sizes, allowing it to be combined or used independently to suit different styling needs and occasions.
