The matte surface, while beautifully understated, is more porous than a glossy glaze and can therefore be more prone to staining. We recommend washing the plate promptly after use to preserve its clean, elegant appearance over time. The plate is dishwasher safe and food-safe, though it is not suitable for microwave, oven, or salamander use.
