Serax Perfect Imperfection Serving Plate Sun Round

Designed by Roos van de Velde for Serax, the Perfect Imperfection Serving Plate Sun Round brings a quiet sense of artistry to the table. This collection marks a genuine innovation in porcelain design: for the first time, imperfection, defectiveness and coincidence are deliberately woven into the production process, resulting in pieces that celebrate irregularity rather than concealing it. The almost round silhouette and bright white glaze give this serving plate a sculptural, tactile presence that feels both refined and organic.

Crafted from fine bone china with a glazed finish, the plate measures L 30.5 x W 28.5 x H 3.2 cm and weighs 0.63 kg. As part of a handmade finishing process, slight variations in shape and surface may occur, making every piece uniquely its own — a hallmark of the collection's philosophy rather than a flaw.

Practical as well as beautiful, the plate is dishwasher and microwave safe, as well as fully food-safe, though it is not suitable for oven or salamander use. Its generous size makes it ideal for serving, styled effortlessly alongside the other pieces in the Perfect Imperfection range for a cohesive, considered table setting.

Please note that this item has a minimum order quantity of six pieces, making it especially suited for hospitality settings, dinner parties, or anyone looking to build a complete, characterful dinnerware collection. A striking addition for those who appreciate design that finds beauty in the unexpected.
