Serax Perfect Imperfection Tea Cup

Discover the Tea Cup White from the Perfect Imperfection collection by Serax, a fine bone china piece designed by Roos van de Velde. This collection marks a genuine innovation in tableware design, as it is the first of its kind to deliberately embrace imperfection, defectiveness, and coincidence as part of the production process. The result is a delicate balancing act between craftsmanship and chance, capturing what the designer calls the perfect imperfection.

Crafted from fine bone china with a glazed finish, each cup features a bright white glaze that highlights subtle irregularities rather than concealing them. Since many pieces in this collection are finished by hand, slight variations naturally occur, making every cup a unique object rather than a mass-produced replica. This tea cup measures 9 cm in length, 9 cm in width, and 7 cm in height, with a capacity of 17 cl and a weight of 0,21 kg.

Practical as well as beautiful, this piece is food-safe, dishwasher resistant, and microwave oven resistant, though it should not be used in the oven or under a salamander grill. Its refined, understated design makes it effortlessly easy to mix and match with other items from the Perfect Imperfection range, allowing for a personalized table setting that still feels cohesive.

Please note that this item has a minimum order quantity of six pieces, making it especially well suited for hospitality settings, gifting, or building a complete tableware collection with a distinctive, artisanal character.
