Serax Ra Soup Bowl

Discover the Ra Soup Bowl in Off-White by Serax, part of the celebrated Ra collection designed by Ann Demeulemeester. Resting on a distinctive pedestal base, this soup bowl brings a sculptural quality to the table, literally raising the food it holds. The design features a black matte glaze on the outside paired with a glossy off-white glaze on the inside, creating a striking contrast between matte and glossy finishes, and between light and dark tones — a signature expression of Demeulemeester's aesthetic.

Crafted from porcelain with a glazed finish, the bowl measures 19 x 19 x 4.9 cm and weighs 0.74 kg. It is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven resistant up to 200°C, making it as functional as it is refined. As many pieces in this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, adding to the unique character of each item.

The Ra collection also includes plates, cups, and a tall cake stand, all sharing the same straight base and sculptural language. Since 2019, Ann Demeulemeester has collaborated with Serax on porcelain, cutlery, and glassware collections, later expanding into lighting and furniture. Her work is known for exploring contrasts — strength and fragility, structure and nonchalance — resulting in pieces that feel both personal and timeless.

Please note a minimum order quantity of two pieces applies to this product.
