Serax Rudolph Ottoman with Cushion

The Rudolph Ottoman with Cushion in Smoke/Black is part of the acclaimed Rudolph collection, born from the renewed collaboration between Serax and designer Vincent Van Duysen. Following their successful partnerships on tableware and outdoor furniture, the two once again joined forces to create a seating collection that reflects the shared identity of both houses, translating a custom-made design often used by Van Duysen in his interior projects into a refined edition piece.

Named after Rudolf Michael Schindler, a key figure of mid-century American modernism, the Rudolph collection draws inspiration from built-in banquettes and the serene proportions of a sofa the designer owns in his home in Portugal. This ottoman embodies that same sense of calm and comfort, offering an organic silhouette and a versatile presence suited to both residential and contemplative interior settings.

Crafted with a structure of aluminium and wood, and finished with a custom-made upholstery produced in Belgium, the ottoman comes complete with a matching cushion in a soft smoke and black color scheme. As with many Serax designs, the piece is finished by hand, meaning slight irregularities may occur — a natural mark of its craftsmanship and individuality.

Designed for indoor, dry environments, the ottoman measures 93 cm in length, 112 cm in width, and 43 cm in height, and weighs 42.7 kg. It is a fixed, non-modular piece without adjustable seat height, intended to stand as a versatile, sculptural addition within the wider Rudolph seating collection.
