Serax Rudolph Side Table Square

Designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Serax, the Rudolph Side Table brings a quiet, sculptural presence to the celebrated Rudolph collection. Crafted from solid oak in a rich black finish, this square side table embodies the mid-century inspiration behind the entire range, named after Rudolf Michael Schindler, a pioneering figure of American modernism whose work continues to inform Van Duysen's approach to proportion and form.

Born from a desire to translate custom-made, project-based furniture into a refined edition piece, the Rudolph collection reflects the designer's admiration for built-in banquettes and the serenity of well-considered lines. The side table complements the collection's sofas and seating, offering the same sense of calm and tactility that defines the entire series. Its compact square silhouette makes it a versatile addition, easily paired with the Rudolph sofa or used as a standalone accent table.

Measuring 45 cm in length, 45 cm in width, and 39 cm in height, with a weight of 16.3 kg, this table is intended for indoor, dry environments. As with many pieces in the Serax collection, the Rudolph side table is finished by hand, meaning slight irregularities may occur — a detail that adds to the individual character of each piece rather than detracting from it.

A refined, understated object that speaks to both Serax's craftsmanship and Van Duysen's architectural sensibility, the Rudolph Side Table is a considered choice for interiors that value warmth, texture, and timeless design.
