Serax Surface Serving Plate

Bring a touch of unspoiled nature into your home with the Serax Surface Serving Plate in Rusty Brown, part of the acclaimed Surface collection by designer Sergio Herman. Inspired by the raw coastal landscapes of Zeeland, in the Netherlands, this serving plate captures the rugged beauty of tidal shores and shifting dunes, translating the region's textures and tones into a piece of tableware that feels both organic and refined.

Crafted from glazed stoneware, each plate is finished with a reactive glaze that creates subtle variations in color and surface, ensuring that no two pieces are ever quite alike. These irregularities are not flaws but a deliberate celebration of handcrafted authenticity, giving every plate its own unique character and story to tell.

Measuring 32 x 32 x 5.5 cm and weighing 2.33 kg, this serving plate is generously sized for sharing dishes, styling appetizers, or simply adding texture to your table setting. It is fully food-safe, dishwasher, microwave, and oven resistant up to 180°C, making it as practical as it is beautiful, though not suitable for salamander grilling.

Part of the wider Surface collection, this piece embodies Sergio Herman's vision of design rooted in nature's imperfections — from rough coastlines to tranquil, dark waters. A striking addition to any table, it pairs effortlessly with other pieces from the collection to create a cohesive, earthy dining experience.
