Slide Design Gelée Lounge Armchair

The Slide Gelée Lounge Armchair is a striking addition to the Gelée collection, designed by Roberto Paoli and honored with the GOOD DESIGN award in 2018. Crafted from soft polyurethane, this lounge armchair carries forward the playful, candy-like silhouette that defines the Gelée family, already seen in the Gelée stool and Gelée Grand pouf, while introducing a comfortable backrest that transforms the iconic shape into a piece made for relaxation.

Its enveloping form and glossy, jelly-like surface create an irresistible visual appeal, inviting you to admire it before you even sit down. The soft polyurethane construction ensures a pleasant, giving comfort, making the Gelée Lounge as inviting to touch as it is to look at. This balance of sculptural design and everyday functionality makes it equally suited to contemporary living rooms, lounges, and hospitality settings where a bold, characterful seat can make a statement.

The Slide Gelée Lounge Armchair is available in Soft White and Soft Argil, two refined tones that highlight the smooth, rounded contours of the design while allowing it to adapt effortlessly to a variety of interior palettes, from minimalist to more expressive spaces.

A true fusion of art and comfort, the Gelée Lounge Armchair stands as a versatile design object that brings both personality and practicality to any setting, embodying Slide's signature ability to turn everyday furniture into playful, sculptural statements.
