Stilnovo Demì Pendant Lamp

The Stilnovo Demì Pendant Lamp, designed by Mirco Crosatto in 2019 and winner of the Reddot Design Award that same year, presents an exceptional blend of technology and aesthetics. When not in use, it appears as a transparent, wide dome—a subtle yet elegant addition to any room. Upon illumination, its distinctive character shines through; the lower edge comes alive with a soft diffusion of warm, enveloping light accentuated by micro-incisions and laser-etched details.

This lighting innovation features OptiLight™ technology that keeps the LED source out of sight, directing focus to the glowing upper ring reminiscent of the central oculus found in renowned architectural designs like the Pantheon. Created from durable and clear PMMA, the diffuser is meticulously laser-etched and thermoformed to distribute light evenly. Its dimmable topLED source is neatly encased in an upper aluminum ring coated in white, ensuring controlled light emission and superior visual comfort.

Crosatto’s creation is aesthetically minimalist, supported by thin suspension cables that function as conductors, which means no visible wiring and an uncluttered appearance. The Demì Pendant Lamp is not just a source of light but an artistic interpretation that harmonizes any space with its celestial and lightweight design. A perfect balance between form and function, it offers a modern approach to architectural lighting.
