Tunto Curve - 1160 mm - Black / Gold Pendant

The Tunto Curve Pendant brings soft contours and precision engineering together in a single, striking silhouette. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen and crafted in Finland, this 1160 mm version pairs a black-stained solid wood body with a 24K gold-plated finish, resulting in a linear fixture with a gracefully rounded top that softens the overall look while maintaining a strong architectural presence. The gold accent adds a refined touch, making the piece as much a design statement as a source of light.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Curve Pendant integrates microprism, honeycomb or lens optics for low-glare, comfortable illumination. Fitted with an LED light source delivering a warm 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K colour temperature, it offers excellent color rendering and a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, ensuring long-term reliability with minimal maintenance. The suspension height is adjustable up to 2 meters, and both the suspension and power cables can be shortened to suit your space.

This model is equipped with a optional Casambi (Bluetooth) control system, enabling seamless, continuous dimming via smartphone, tablet, or the Tunto EnOcean wireless switch—no complex wiring required beyond active and neutral connections. The fixture is rated IP20 for indoor use and complies with Class II protection standards, backed by CE certification.

As with all Tunto wood pieces, natural variations in grain and tone are part of its organic character, evolving gracefully over time. Simple dry-cloth dusting keeps it looking its best. A refined choice for those seeking sculptural lighting with technical sophistication.

Available options
Colour temperature: 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K · Optic: microprism, honeycomb or lenses · Control: DALI – Push Dim or Casambi (Bluetooth).

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
