Tunto Curve - 1720 mm - Walnut / Black Pendant

The Tunto Curve Pendant Lamp brings soft, sculptural elegance to linear lighting design. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen and crafted in Finland, this 1720 mm version features a gracefully rounded silhouette in solid walnut, paired with a black finish for a refined contrast. Its advanced optical lenses ensure low-glare, precision illumination, making it as comfortable to live with as it is beautiful to look at.

Measuring L.1720 x H.Canopy 35 x W.220 x D.110 mm, with a wood profile of W.40 x H.60 mm, the Curve suspends from a 2-metre cord (shortenable) and includes a 3-metre power cable. The canopy and connection are integrated in the same position for a clean, minimal ceiling presence.

At the heart of the fixture is a high-quality LED light source with a color temperature of 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K, delivering crisp, natural illumination with excellent color rendering. The lens optics reduce glare significantly, enhancing visual comfort in both residential and contract interiors. With an LED lifespan of 50,000 hours, the Curve is built for long-term performance.

This model is equipped with a optional Casambi (Bluetooth) control system, allowing seamless, continuous dimming via smartphone, tablet, or the Tunto EnOcean wireless switch—no complex wiring required beyond active and neutral connections.

As with all Tunto wood fixtures, natural variations in grain and tone are part of the material's authentic character, evolving gracefully over time. Rated IP20 for indoor use, the Curve should be installed by qualified personnel and cared for with a soft, dry cloth, away from heat sources and temperature extremes.

Available options
Colour temperature: 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K · Optic: microprism, honeycomb or lenses · Control: DALI – Push Dim or Casambi (Bluetooth).

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
