Built around a high-quality LED light source rated for 50,000 hours, the L 40 offers a color temperature of 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K and excellent color rendering (Ra = 93), ensuring true, vibrant tones in any interior. The fixture measures 1720 mm in length, with a canopy height of 35 mm, width of 220 mm and depth of 110 mm; the wooden body itself measures 40 x 40 mm. It includes a 2-meter suspension height and a 3-meter power cable, both of which can be shortened to suit your space.

This model is equipped with optional Casambi (Bluetooth) control, allowing seamless, continuous dimming via smartphone, tablet, or the Tunto EnOcean switch, without the need for additional wiring beyond active and neutral connections. Designed for indoor use, the L 40 carries an IP20 safety rating and Class II protection, with CE certification for peace of mind.

As with all solid wood products, the oak finish will show natural variations in grain and may develop a richer patina over time. Simple maintenance with a soft, dry cloth keeps the fixture looking its best for years to come.

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
