Tunto Square - 880 mm - Oak Pendant

The Tunto Square Pendant Lamp brings together crisp geometric lines and the natural warmth of solid oak, resulting in a fixture that feels both architectural and organic. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen and crafted in Finland, this 880 mm version showcases Tunto's dedication to honest materials and refined Scandinavian design, making it a striking focal point above dining tables, kitchen islands, or lounge settings.

At the heart of the Square Pendant is a high-performance LED light source with a choice of 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K colour temperature, delivering clean, energy-efficient illumination with an LED lifespan of 50,000 hours. The fixture offers a choice of microprism, honeycomb or lens optics, engineered to provide precise, comfortable light distribution while minimizing glare. Directional and fixed in position, the light is designed for optimal task and ambient performance in any interior setting.

This model is equipped with a optional Casambi (Bluetooth) control system, allowing for continuous dimming via smartphone, tablet, or the Tunto EnOcean wireless switch, without the need for additional control wiring. The 2-wire system simplifies installation while still offering full dimming flexibility and smart integration.

Constructed from solid wood measuring 40 x 60 mm, with a canopy height of 35 mm, width of 220 mm, and depth of 110 mm, the Square Pendant is finished in oak, preserving the wood's natural grain and character, which may evolve gracefully over time. The suspension height is adjustable up to 2 meters, with a 3-meter power cable that can be shortened during installation.

Rated IP20 for indoor use and certified with the CE mark, this pendant should be installed by qualified personnel to ensure safe and lasting performance.

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
